Jessica is an Associate Lawyer at Valin Partners LLP. Her primary areas of practice are Civil Litigation, Wills and Estate Litigation, and Real Estate.

Jessica was born and raised in North Bay and graduated from Chippewa Secondary School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Western University in London, Ontario. She holds an honours double major in business management and criminology. She worked in finance for five years post-undergrad before deciding to go to law school. She attended Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario to complete her law degree where she finished with the 4th highest average amongst her class in her third and final year.

Jessica completed the Integrated Practice Curriculum at Lakehead by doing her placement at a local civil litigation firm and then proceeded to complete her Articles and work as an Assistant Crown Attorney at the North Bay Crown Attorney’s office before joining Valin Partners. She also completed a judicial internship in the city of North Bay at the Superior Court of Justice.

Jessica is a member of the Nipissing University Research Ethics Board and volunteers her time around the holidays to the Santa Fund delivering food baskets as well as sponsoring families through LIPI and the Children’s Aid Society.

When she’s not working, Jessica loves spending time with family, being on the water, travelling and staying active.
