Stephania is an associate lawyer at Valin Partners LLP, primarily practicing in family law and child protection law. Her practice also includes real estate and wills.
Stephania is originally from Guelph, Ontario, and she attended the University of Guelph for her undergraduate degree in international development and forestry. She attended the University of Windsor School of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating with Magna Cum Laude distinction. While at school, she was the recipient of two book awards in recognition of academic excellence and service to the school. Stephania was also the recipient of the Dual J.D. Program Excellence Scholarship Award.
After graduation, Stephania began her career in Peace River, Alberta, practicing primarily in family law and criminal defence law. During her time in Alberta, she was a board member of the Peace River Victim Services Unit.
After spending some time in Windsor, working at a small firm assisting with wills and corporate practice, she moved to North Bay to join the team at Valin Partners LLP.
In her spare time, Stephania enjoys reading, skiing, hiking, and running.
